Golden State Guiding is excited to announce our Trad Dayz Traditional Climbing Programs in Joshua Tree National Park are back! Come learn how to trad climb in Joshua Tree with our incredible AMGA Guide Team and create a climbing foundation that will carry you forward and set you up for success for years to come.
Golden State Guiding will be hosting 5 Trad Dayz weekends in Joshua Tree National Park during the 2025/26 climbing season. Our Trad Dayz programs will be focused around traditional climbing and will cover topics such as traditional anchors, gear placements (active and passive), mock leading with gear, advanced anchoring skills, Joshua Tree Anchors, multi pitch transitions, and much more! Please note, any guest registering for our Trad Dayz course in Joshua Tree National Park must have the basic skill set and knowledge to build basic 2 point bolted anchors using cordalette’s and slings. It’s of the upmost importance our guests for this programming have the basic foundation mentioned above before registering to ensure a smooth Trad Dayz for all who sign up.
