Full or multi day long alpine climbing in the breathtaking Sierra Nevada mountain range, also known as the Range of Light. Our professional Guides have all been trained by the AMGA and have the credibility, experience and knowledge to guide you in this vast alpine arena compiled of 14,000' spires, lichen streaked granite and endless splitters. Check out our list of classic alpine routes below, guaranteed to turn any day out in the mountains into memories that will last a lifetime. If you're simply looking for a fun-filled, beautiful day out in the Eastern Sierra with family or friends we've got you covered as well! We also offer an array of non-wilderness, single pitch venues from the beautiful Iris Slab in the popular Rock Creek Canyon area, to the beginner friendly crags of the Mammoth Lakes area, all the way to Clark Canyon and more. Non-Wilderness trips are considered a "Half Day", up to 6 hours and are listed below along the alpine rates. 

 

*ALL guided alpine climbs Grade iI and Above require a mandatory pre-screening questionnaire to be filled out by ALL clientS to ENSURE general fitness levels ARE ACCEPTABLE.

Golden State Guiding operates under permit on the Inyo National Forest.
