BBQ's x BELAY's x BEER's, what else could a climber ask for! The climbing season in Joshua Tree is just about to kick off and what better way to experience this beautiful landscape with over 5000+ rock climbs then to spend a full weekend with Golden State Guiding!
GSG has booked out a weekend this December in Joshua Tree National Park for our 7th annual BBQ's x BELAY's x BEER's event and we want you to come out and climb and camp with us! The weekend consist’s of 2 nights camping in Joshua Tree National Park, 2 days of guided climbing in the park, and one meal and refreshments (Saturday night) provided by Golden State Guiding, and our partners Traeger Grills, and Pure Project Brewing. All guests will also receive a goodybag from our partners Rab Equipment, Shelta Hats, and the American Alpine Club! Instructional clinics both days, geared towards climbing on your own outdoors
Any personal climbing equipment for the weekend including a harness, helmet and climbing shoes.

FRIDAY DECEMBER 8TH
Arrive at camp anytime after 4:00 pm, settle in and meet your new climbing partners for the weekend. Refreshments will be provided by Pure Project Brewing. Any climbing gear that may be needed for the weekend will be handed out at this time.
SATURDAY DECEMBER 9TH
Breakfast from 7:00 am - 8:00 am, participants will provide their own. We’ll caravan into Joshua Tree National Park from Indian Cove Campground from 8:00 am - 8:30 am and plan to be climbing no later than 9:00 am. Participants will provide their own snacks, water and lunch for the day. Climbing clinics will be provided throughout the day. After our day of climbing in Joshua Tree National Park we’ll head back to camp and enjoy some tasty beverages provided by Pure Project Brewing. A delicious catered dinner will be provided by Traeger Grills at 7:00 pm.
SUNDAY DECEMBER 10TH
Breakfast from 7:00 am - 8:30 am, participants will provide their own. We’ll also break down camp at this time. The climbing for the day will be walking distance from the campsites in Indian Cove Campground. Participants will provide their own snacks, water and lunch for the day. Climbing clinics will be provided throughout the day. We intend to wrap up the day no later than 3:00 pm to ensure we all hit the road at a decent time.

All guests will be responsible for their own meals for the duration of the event with the exception of our catered dinner Saturday night. This includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, both at camp and in Joshua Tree National Park. Golden State Guiding will provide the campsites for both nights and refreshments, provided by Pure Project Brewing. All guests will also be responsible for their own transportation to and from the climbing locations and all camping equipment.
