Golden State Guiding is excited to announce our Bama Dayz event in the Alabama Hills is back this October 13th - 16th and it’s bigger and better than ever! Come join us in the Eastern Sierra for an unforgettable weekend full of climbing, camping, camaraderie, and fun. The event will include 3 days of climbing in the historic Alabama Hills and 3 nights of camping at the Mount Whitney Climbing Ranch!

Lots of fun is in store for our 2nd annual Bama Dayz event including instructional clinics facilitated by our talented Guide team throughout the weekend and gear demos provided by Petzl and Scarpa in our small vendor village we’ll have on site at the Mount Whitney Climbing Ranch and campground. Beverages will be supplied by Pure Project Brewing and Rove: Adventure Beer all weekend long, and live music will accompany the event Friday evening! And to kick off the 2022/23 snow season on the right foot, 10% of all proceeds will go to our friends over at the Eastern Sierra Avalanche Center. Let’s support one of the greatest resources we have in the Eastern Sierra!

In addition to all the fun mentioned above, we’ll be hosting a raffle loaded with tons of awesome climbing gear to give away provided by our good friends at Fixe Hardware, Scarpa, Big Agnes, Outdoor Research, Cotopaxi, Petzl, Black Diamond, Elevation, Nomad Ventures, and Beta Chalk! Each participant receives 1 complimentary raffle ticket upon registration, additional tickets can be purchased for $5 and 100% of all raffle ticket proceeds will be donated to the Eastern Sierra Avalanche Center as well.
